‘Thuis in de Tuinwijk’ is a community art theater project for and by the residents of the Garden neighborhood in Groningen. During a theatrical tour through the neighborhood with theater, live music, dance and video, the audience follows a dramatic day in the life of neighborhood resident, Sientje.
For ‘Thuis in de Tuinwijk’ Floris Maathuis did the technical production including but not limited to: arranging the technical aspects, building the décor / coordinating local residents’ décor, collaborating technically with regard to content, executing the walking route and the acts, transporting tech, décor and props, applying for local permits (including a blues band on the roof of a shed).
