In a reconstructed laboratory equipped with computer screens, television monitors, simulators and workbenches, students have to improve dangerous traffic situations, answer various questions at a high speed, and be tested for traffic knowledge and mobility skills. Knowledge and skill are essential to come out as winners. The bicycle and car play a central role but scooters, mobility scooters and public transport also play their parts. ‘The National Traffic Lab’ is the ideal mix to test acquired traffic knowledge and apply it to future situations. Very practical and interactive. The objective is to make the Netherlands (even) safer. Fewer casualties and less damage.
The traffic lab is suitable for all levels of education and is mainly intended for junior high school kids. However, the level can be effortlessly adapted to the last grade of primary education as well.
