Are the killer robots coming? Last year Nobel Prize winners, directors of robotic companies, NGO’s and even countries warned us against using smart autonomous weapon systems. They can destroy targets – and therefore people – on their own. How dangerous are these weapons? Can you have them banned? And how do you prevent them from making fatal mistakes?
‘Man versus Robot’ investigates the consequences of a robot being used as an independently thinking weapon. By experiencing it yourself, you can get a feeling for the outcome of these systems. Together with the audience we can examine the rules that an autonomous weapon must adhere to.
